My first Doom metal band was Katatonia .. heared 4 album and all was awesome. After that i encountred few more Doom meatal band like Khanate , Sunn O))) , My Dying Bride , Candlemass and Patheist. Thanks to RSJ Doom/Stoner thread who guided me to for Doom metal bands. There are lots of good doom metal bands recommended .. i just started to explore those bands recomended . Seriously i wanna bow to Black Sabbath , the GOD of Doom Metal.. not only the doom metal infact the gods of heavy metal and power metal.Paranoid is still the Best Doom metal song till date.

The band from Japan , shocked right .. i remember that Japan is not so rich in this department. X-Japan is the only well known metal band which i remember is from Japan.But i think Church Of Misery gonna rule the world one day.They have released only 2 full length album Master of Brutality 2001 and The Second Coming 2004. Havnt listned the album Master of Brutality ..but seriously The Second Coming ia truly a masterpiece. Brilliant master piece and fking underrated.Church Of Misery is a group of talented drummer , brillint bassist and kickass guitarist , donn like much the vocals.

They play stoner metal , subgenre of doom metal and belive me that give the best shit. Noisy environment unclear vocals, distorted riffs and slow solos is what u will find in each and every song. All the songs are high quality stuff , specially the song Soul Discharge and Filth Bitch Boogie. The noisy pattern of starting song which sounds like a group of people fighting each other is very enjoyable. Although most of the song moves around enjoyable riffs , incredible bass , slow and slugging solos.They have the insrumental solo in the end of the album which is sweet and supurb. The best solos i ever heared.

Seriously i am new for this genre , but after listning this album i adore all doom bands. The first godly album was Pantheist's Amartia , the track 'Apologeia' is in my all time favorite list.I would strongly suggest to all Doom metal lover to listen to this album.But yeah it is not for every rock n metal fan , if u love Sunn O))) , Khanate then it is worth listning.I Salute this album and Hats off to this Kickass band Church Of Misery.
