There are tons of good death metal bands .. few of the legendry death metal bands are death, morbid angel, atheist ... but seriously this band is different from ordinary death metal bands. I dont know why i love them so much .. agree with they are fking talnted or maybe because they are underground ;).They are genius , i repeate they are fking incredible. They play technical death metal band and they PWN most of the tech dm bands.

The album is full of memorable riffs , complex structure and low pitch gutterals. The vocals sounds very unique , most of the people say that the vocals sucks ... it seems like a dying bleeding guy asking for some sorta help , who cant even able to pronounciate the words properly. But IMO the vocalist 'Antti Boman' is brilliant , supurb and the only piece of this kinda harrsh glutteral voice. The song structures are very unqiue you cant say that same song is been repeated is the same or other fashion ( as it happens in most of the Dream Threater and COB albums ) .Totally brilliant feeling and i am damn sure if you love death metal then , you will bow down to this band DEMILICH.

This album is worth listening , i repeate Nespithe is worth listening. Download the full length album from the official website. Since they are underground , everything is free .. also they have other EP's in their official website ... all free for download.haha the best thing is available for free. Download the album and listen it , i sware you will be doing yourself a favor by checking them out.

Acrid Semblane - From the Oblivion

Indian is not so rich , specially when we are talking about the rock n roll culture. But anyways its getting better and better. There are not many extreme metal bands in India .. some of the good worth mentioning extreme metal bands are Narsil , Infernal Wrath , IIIrd Sovereign , DR, MyndSnare , Exhumation and few more ... so his album was most awaited album of the year along with IIIrd Sovereign's album , Narsil'EP and Infernal Wrath's EP.

The album contains 9 songs , most of them are good. Good in terms of structure , solos and riffs ... my favorite song is Running for eternity and Burn the ashes. The most annoying thing was the small clips of keyboard solos between the song. Keyboard is krieg agree but donno why that keyboard part really sucks .. total COB feel. Acrid arts is one of the song , which was enjoyable until the keyboard solo comes ..ehhh ?! Buy any ways thats just me .. haha.. just my taste.

Overall the album is good , worth listening in 120 bucks ... apart from the keyboard solo's the whole album is tight and few of the riffs are memorable.A healthy dose of melo death with lots of keyboards. Hope that Acrid guys come with some more kickass stuff next time. This album is not 100% of what they really are .. atleast i was expecting much more then Acrid guys.Drink beer and Stay metalhead.

Narsil ... Rise of extreme metal

Was there in cafe morrison around 8:20 , Narsil guys were busy with soundchecking and other things. Seriously it was a LONG time , the most awaiting band till now ... now Narsil is no more underground ( i love underground stuff ). The soundcheck was on , saw mayank ( black illusion ) in front... screaming Narsil Nasril and i seconded him. Shaswat was kinda nervous when i said , abe fat to nahin rahi !! . They didnt started the show until Anupam was satisfied with the sound check and other things ... and then Shaswat's first Growl .... OMG .

Anupam and desecrator were like two bloodsucker axeman kicking all deathmetlars ass. First song was 'prelude to execution' and his song PNWS , was much better then the CD version . Shawat's vocals are really good , kinda Immolataion-Psychoptic mixture ... unique and brillaint. I have to say that he is the best extreme metal vocalist around ( maaf karna sahil bhai , we still love your vocals). Then some arphenogenia,smoke on the water ( holy faaaaak ... immolation vocals in this song ) and few covers as well. Overall a Brilliant setlist and killer performance , they are surely the BEST death metal band follwed by IIIrd Sovereign , IF and DR ..

NARSIL

May You Rock - Undying Inc , Prestorika and IIIrd Sovereign at TC !!

Finally i managed to catch delhi's death metal band IIIrd Sovereign , after listening the EP 'Horrified Visions' was dying to see this band LIVE.

First band on stage was Undying Inc , thrash metal band from delhi. I have two song by them , Existance Failure and New Release , both the songs are good. They played OC and 2 cover song .. the sound system was kinda fucked up but they still managed to performe great. Vocalist was good and so was the drummer !! In the end they played Sepultura's 'Territorry' and other 'Domination' song , fucked the territorry song :P ... but seriously the stage act and the OC's was good. Surprisingly they did a great job or say it was my first Undying Inc so wasnt expecting much with the band.

Next was Prestorika , another delhi's favorite band.They play all OC set .. all song from the EP ' Emergence'. All prestorika song was good and enjoyable , they also played my favorite song 'Shameless Pride' :P. Lokesh was good and was doing great job along with other band members.In the end they covered some Megadeth track ' Sweating Bullets' .. nothing great , so-so type cover. and anothe Vision' was dying to see these killer bands LIVE.The show was in Turquoise Cottage , its a small pub .. but seriously this place is awesome for small gigs as well.Two more bands were there Undying Inc and Prestorika ... love the whole thing.. good bands , small place , always crowded and lots and lots of BEER ... What else you want !!

Time for the last band of the night IIIrd Sovereign .. but they gotta time to play 5 songs only !! Any ways this band was too good .. love the vocals and the drummer Rebum was great .. powerful and supurb. They played 4 OC's all song of the EP 'Horrified Visions' and one song by Cannibal fking Corpse... such a blasting set .. they all did a brilliant job and .... beside this Anshuman's [ guitarist] friends were screaming " Pappu ki jai ho " .. haha ... All Pappu's friend was making fun out of him .. came to know that his g/f didnt came other wise .... blah blah blah. Any ways they were great and the IIIrd Sovereign performance were tight , very brutal and blasting. All hail this Delhi death metal band !!

History Of Death Metal : Phase I ( Upto 1990 )

Death metal is the most brutal form of music in existence. A typical
death metal band is generally identifiable by their use of heavy
distortion, excessive downtuning, pummeling double bass drum and
trademark growl vocals (or grunts).Lyrics wise we can say that , Death metal lyrics usually deal with the darker side of society that most other musical styles avoid writing about, sometimes inspired by horror movies (Death, Cannibal Corpse, Mortician), more rarely politics (Dying Fetus).

It is influce by Thrash Metal with heavy growling vocals and repeated
and complex riffs with brutal drumming. It was possessed who put the
Growling vocals in a thrash metal invironment and crated a new kind of
music. Along with Possessed , Slayer was another metal band which
influenced this genre heavily ...Slayers early albums 'Show No Mercy' n 'Hell Awaits' was kinda death-thrash. In the year 1985 Possessed release there first deubt album 'Seven Churches'. This album is the one of the most creative and interesting death metal album is still one of the Best old school death metal album till date.

Sepultura was another band in 80's who influenced Death Metal genre
.. Max. Cavelera was in his best form .. the album like 'Schizophrenia' and 'Morbid visions' was a milestone for death metal.Cant forget Morbid Angel , a band from USA , first doubt album 'Altars Of Madness' was one hell of the great album !! There were lots of other bands too which cant be neglected , Entombed Sweden Death Metal band ... Entombed was at the forefront of the first wave of Swedish death metal in the early nineties, with their first two releases (Left Hand Path and Clandestine) widely regarded as landmarks in the field.

Death , no need of words .. the greatest death metal band in entire metal history ..Their origins date back to 1983, with the first incarnation of of the band (first known as Mantus) featuring guitarists Chuck Schuldiner (really the driving force behind the band) and Rick Rozz along with drummer Kam Lee. They have pleanty of brilliant and influencial albums Scream Bloody Gore and Spiritual Healing are two worth mentioning album.

Napalm Death is one of the founding fathers of grindcore, that subdivision of death metal consisting of very short, very fast, chaotic blurs of noise. Scum and From Enslavement To Obliteration are the first two incredible album by them , they influenced many Grindcore bands like Cephalic Carnage, Pig Destroyer Brutal Truth Bolt Thrower and others.Carcass is the another Grincore death metal band .. 'Symphonies Of Sickness' was the another legendry album in later 80's by Carcass.

Till this time there were lots of other band started forming. The 90's era is the Golden years of the death metal genre.

Rudra at NSIT Rock Show

Duhh .. cant belive that i saw RUDRA Live. Thanks a lot to NSIT for
this wonderful Rock concert. I remember in 2001 Rudra came to IIT
Delhi in our cultural festival. But that time i was not into much of Death Metal stuff !! It was 'Brahmavidya: Primordial I' album which was released in 2005 . This album put them into the level of international band.

Damm man .. the vedic metal is seriously insane .... i still remember
when i listen the album 'Brahmavidya: Primordial I' first time. Death
metal environment and vedic lyrics .... lolzz it seems to be funny
when you listen the song first time. But seriously this is called
CREATIVITY .... they are famous now , they deserever. Let's see when
they gonna release their next album. Even i dont have the first 2
albums , will search them in Soulseek for sure.

It was my dream to see any good death metal black metal band. It was Rudra ... the good death-thrash singapore band !! Saw them in MetalStorm and i was fking shocked .. man all around the world know this band. They started the show with a vedic slok .. cool solo which gets heavier and heavier as the slok ends .... fking choatic environment and fking drumming. Damm the vocalist was too damm good ... bass guittarist plus vocalist !! Very tight and very impressuve .. the fanda of vedic metal is seriously amaging , i never throught that these vedic sloks can be used as the lyrics of a death / thrash metal songs. Each and every song starts with a melodic theme of Indian mythology .. n then moves the another brutal part. I have listned the last two albums .. missed the first doubt album by them .. they played 2 tracks from the first album.

All the song was too damm good. The vocalist was very cool and very
softspoken. Good guy with golden heart .... every time when they start
song , they tell a story behind the theme of the song !! Afterall they
are the GOD's of vedic metal. Damm the drummer Shiva was incredible ,
even with a cut finger he was very powerful n tight !! Very much
professional and Very experianced .The t-shirt n the albums was
available in the backstage , but didnt able to but anything :( kangali
chal rahi hai !!

Atheist is known as the one of the most creative talented and underrated band in the metal history. They are from USA and in early 90's they came in the focus when they release their first album Piece Of Time in 1989 .. Then in 1991 they released their second album unquestionable Presence .. which is definatly the most complex n technical album in death metal history. ok forget whatever i said and just listen to the album , you will understand what i am trying to say.

Mother Man : It start with blastning and slow drumming .. and as time increse the vocals as well as the whole song structure move faster faster n faster ... awesome tight riffs with perfect bass. Melodic solo which start at 1:50 is awesome man .. i mean what the fk ..what a ultimate signature change and what a beautiful structure !! Good vocals no doubt .. and beautiful lyrics .. they are ATHEIST after all.The whole song twisted at 3:32 ..uff this jazz is killer i am telling you .. mindblowing guitaring solo man .. n beautiful ending !! this is Keieg seriously .. such a fking enjoyable song.

Unquestinable Presence : Slow starting of the song and after 32 sec they whole song move to faster and faster with time. The sig change at 1: 32 is mystic .. this is the best thing with Jazz you never know where gonna song move and at what time the theme gonna divert, kickass guitaring at 2:17 .. The whole environment is aweful .. yeah now i realise what technical DM is called. Everything seems to be choatic but in the core they are syncronised.The ending is more killer then anything else .. stupid growling and awesome riffing is awesome !!!!!!

Your Life's Retribution : Nice starting with screaming vocals and bass platform ...after one minute the song move to the melodic way .... slow and enjoyable ....the rhytm guitarist gave his nonstop 45 second solo guitaring which is really nice and melodic. Again sig change at 2: 41 and the kvlt drumming with screaming vocals made the whole environment choatic.

Enthralled In Essence : Melodic starting with thrashing and repeated riffs. But the drummer seems to be playing the lead role in this song .. he changes the patter of drumming in every 20 secong and the whole song moves the way drums are been beated.Jazz drumming and extreme drumming .. what a talented drummer man.The song get in peak at 3:00 when drummer start beating drums like a insane headbagger bang his head !! Holy necro kult.

An Incarnation's Dream : Acoustic guitaring sounds so good ..so much of preety and wonderful in first minute when 'Kelly Sheafer' started screaming .. the song jumped from one extreme to another extreme .. again the brutal dumming ..arbitrary and insane rifs kills.what the fkkk sig chage at 2:12 was like givging a shock to slepping people .. beats changes with random ways and but everytime is enjoyable. Thats is what is important .. the creativitiy and uniquness must be there.

The Formative Years : Distortede riffs and Jazz drumming what you listen when the song starts. Which in the later part converts into the blasting solo. meanway the guitaring solo please you ..Rand Burkey and Frank Emmi are very talented guitarist no doubt !! and so is Tony Choy the awesome bassist.

Brains : This song is the most agreesive song of the album and so is the terrific beats and rhytm of the song. Good drumming with good guitaring riffs.Ultimate fast and very complex through .. sweet solo at 2:06 will amazed you !! What a Drumming man .. i remeber that Steve Flynn is still drumming in some local Jazz metal group .. he is the oldest drummer in metal industry i guess 75 years only .. this song is a beautiful example of Steve Flynn talent.

And The Psychic Saw : Nice starting with kickass solo ... and then the kelly start growling in the environment , just fantastic. Remember the song 'The Exorcist' by Possessed from his first deubt album Seven Churches ..i love that kind of repeated riffs ..the same pattern rocks. At 2:07 song seems like a COF version which laters chages to insane headbangging pattern .... what should i write more .... i am short of words .. how can u mix damm jazz beats with death metal environment !! This is what i say Creativity... bow to the album n bow to atheist. Duhh cant miss the ending of this song .. blows every damm this ...

Seriously if you have missed this [ i dont expect any death metal lover will miss this band ] then you are missing a big thing. You cant say yourself a elite metalhead if you have not listen to this album. Recomended also to all Jazz lover .. see what they have done with it. Most respected band and album of metal industry. I saw in metal-archives that this album is re release with some bonus tracks. Hope to catch the new album asap.

My first Doom metal band was Katatonia .. heared 4 album and all was awesome. After that i encountred few more Doom meatal band like Khanate , Sunn O))) , My Dying Bride , Candlemass and Patheist. Thanks to RSJ Doom/Stoner thread who guided me to for Doom metal bands. There are lots of good doom metal bands recommended .. i just started to explore those bands recomended . Seriously i wanna bow to Black Sabbath , the GOD of Doom Metal.. not only the doom metal infact the gods of heavy metal and power metal.Paranoid is still the Best Doom metal song till date.

The band from Japan , shocked right .. i remember that Japan is not so rich in this department. X-Japan is the only well known metal band which i remember is from Japan.But i think Church Of Misery gonna rule the world one day.They have released only 2 full length album Master of Brutality 2001 and The Second Coming 2004. Havnt listned the album Master of Brutality ..but seriously The Second Coming ia truly a masterpiece. Brilliant master piece and fking underrated.Church Of Misery is a group of talented drummer , brillint bassist and kickass guitarist , donn like much the vocals.

They play stoner metal , subgenre of doom metal and belive me that give the best shit. Noisy environment unclear vocals, distorted riffs and slow solos is what u will find in each and every song. All the songs are high quality stuff , specially the song Soul Discharge and Filth Bitch Boogie. The noisy pattern of starting song which sounds like a group of people fighting each other is very enjoyable. Although most of the song moves around enjoyable riffs , incredible bass , slow and slugging solos.They have the insrumental solo in the end of the album which is sweet and supurb. The best solos i ever heared.

Seriously i am new for this genre , but after listning this album i adore all doom bands. The first godly album was Pantheist's Amartia , the track 'Apologeia' is in my all time favorite list.I would strongly suggest to all Doom metal lover to listen to this album.But yeah it is not for every rock n metal fan , if u love Sunn O))) , Khanate then it is worth listning.I Salute this album and Hats off to this Kickass band Church Of Misery.

Seriously Demonic Resurrection is awesome , Originally from Mumbai.. they play symphonic metal and belive me thay are brilliant in this field. They release their second album 'A Darkness Decends' this year and this album is simply brilliant.The quality of average album release per year in india is not so good .. but this year after release of A Darkness Decends and Spiral Ascent it is clear that the Indian bands are taking care of the recording quality along with the quality music. This album was my first indian metal album , and infact my first original CD. Hope that next year indian bands could come with more and more quality albums.

This is a five member band with great keyboard player Mephisto. They are technically rich and very talented. Demostealer aka Sahil is really a incredible guy ,he is vocalist and guitarist in this band and also the team leader. JP in otherhand is the best drummer around , he plays drums very powerful and choatic. This band is influenced by Cradle Of Filth and Dimmu Borgir .... Remember the earlier Dimmu Borgir stuff and Burzum's album , where they put the first song as opening song .. very short , very dark and very soothing . The first song reminds me the first song of Stormblast .. the progressive slow dark environemnt.Most of the songs are true symphonic stuff , with some harsh vocals with it. Demonstealer has done a good job , his variation in vocals is brilliant. He can sing harsh as well as in melodic way.. really interesting. Most of the song moves around sweet solo and harsh melodic vocal and unclear kickass riffs.

The song 'A Darkness Descends' and 'Frozen Portrait' are the best song of the album . Extremly brilliant and ultra enjoyable song. Such a good combination of melodic solos , good drumming and lovely vocals. Keyboards performance is brilliant in the above two song , also the signature chages and repeatred powerful insane drumming kick ass !! . In rest of the album 'The Summoning' is worth mentioning song .... pretty brutal and fking enjoyable. I really adore this band .. no once give the stuff which they give. Everything with this band is brilliant , desperately waiting for next album .. hope that they will improve more and will come with better shit next time. Dying to see this band LIVE.

The great death metal band from Canada , underground and technical. They are just the perfect example of oldschool death stuff with growling vocals . The vocalist 'Luc Lemay' is brilliant and very talented , but i never saw his name in top 10 death metal vocalist .. so sad ..preety underrated IMO. Any ways this is the best by Gorguts .. infact some of my metalstorm friends gave 10/10 to this Gorguts album. The supurb death metal album with powerful vocals and incredible and choatic riffs.

Obscura : Damm the title song of the album full of powerful waves ..blows everything out of hell ..the growling is fking blasting ..such a powerful growling , suddently at 2: 32 they change the signature oh no it was the same song :D but nice pattern changing ..and the end of the song ..they never let the peak down ....

Earthly Love : What is this .. speedy solo with ..brutal drumming and the ultimate killer voice is just fking increedible.good solo at 1:26 ..the best part of the song..VOCALS is mindblowing ..belive me i donno why he is not in the top 5 vocalist ..haha may be underrated , but belive me this guy owns !!Nice signature change at 2:45 which keeps the tempo at the peeeeek beautiful environment with kick ass gworling ..fk man fak what a ultimate song.

Clouded : What the fkkkkk ....beautiful starting ..with awesome grouling ....the vocals are killer specially the deep harsh groling , i donn know it is technically corrert or not but this is fcuking awesome. Damm man now i realise that death metal is so fking beautiful and awful. The guitaring riffs where just killer, repreated with the loud drums ....man this is the longest song of the album....and i am totally fked up whats going on ..i just wanna be out of this environment ..bassist was never so rude with me , like the way he is kicking my ass ..o my god ....the deep slow brutal growling fk ass ..such a beautiful brutal death metal song i ever encoutred ..aaha i just wanna qqqqqqqqqquuuuuuuuuuiiiiiiiiitttttttttttttttttttttttt.......very slow ending but it seems that it never gonna be end..

Faceless Ones : HAHAHAHA what a slow and sweet solo , the vocals is just beautiful.Good guitaring riffs .. ultimate slow song which rise up with small small package adding in it .. it the vocals sound variation .... the best choatic they can have.

Illuminatus: They show the brutalness of DM ..technically rich and owns the all death metal stuff.... nice guitaring and kick ass solo ..what should i say abt the vocalist ..Luc Lemay is the most talented vocalist in underground death metal vocalist .... haha ... what the vocalist is doing ..have to read the lyrics now ..he sounds like a gay mad screaming but the another and far better version of dani filth [ ok i like his vocals , the most hated vocalist in metal history :P].Good and brutal song indeed.

La Vie Est Prelude: Good damm solo with grwoling vocals .. very and repeated theme through , most powerful and powerful song of the album.Sognature which changes to 1:30 is incerdible .... fker put the song into the other edge of brutality ....totally fking song with lots of high tempo stuff.

Nostalgia : I am damm sure that this band have more then one good album ..i am saying that becoz i feel that the song they made of high quality stuff. Very rare DM songs is so much technically good and beautiful ..this song is a beautiful example of this. everything with the song was awesome. Again the small beats at 3:11 kick ass ....the drums sound is much deeper and
chaotic.Duhh man ..why they get split ..left us only 3 masterpiece album. and i think this is the best by them ..

Rapturous Grief : Such a insane vocals with nice darm death environment .... very soothing nd interesting ..preety slow solos but the vocals was not low. slow and slow solo rith groovy riffs .... again the vocals lyrics [??] kick ass , only thing u listen is a choatic environment with brutal growling.... just fking fking and fking ..no one can beat them .... ha ha this is called technical DM .. just listen to it .. now as much as atheist but still ..and ...

Subtle Body : Good song but losses its tightness and tempo at starting , later on at 2:35 it becomes better then the earlier two and half minute ..vocals again with incredible sound. overall the weak song of the album ..but yes vocalist is brillint just listen to the growling

The Art of The Sombre Ecstasy : The last song of the album ..not much brutal the the earlier stuff but still kick ass enjoyment ..again the best part the growling goes with its highest peck .... such a amaging sound which is more powerful then the blasting powerfulstorm. Again the synchronization fk like a hell.

Missed two song ..but really this was fking experiance ..haha .. great band and beautiful album .. holy fking kick ass !! Recomemded to all old school DM lovers .

Holy Crap !! Such a brilliant album full of solid thrash element. One of the best album by Exodus .. I cant understand how did they manage to create to make such a album with 9 great thrash masterpiece. They release this album in 1985 and this album 'Bounded By Blood' is one of the most technical thrashy album so far. This is the ideal album for those who are new for thrash genre ....fuck Reign in Blood and fuck Master of Puppets. Belive me this album beats all, just listen to this album .. and i am damm sure you wont ask for any other band. What else should i say about this 'classic thrash album'. Just listen to it and i am damm sure u will understand.

Bonded By Blood : Repeated riffs give a opening of the album , good melodic vocals ....very technical riffs with good and incredible solos. Such a energetic and headbangging riffs which surely make you fell like hell. This song remind me much of raining blood .. when the vocal growls Bonded by Blood \,,/ , the guitaring part which starts at 2:18 is fking brilliant .. fk man fk .... they thrashed everything !!

Exodus : Good synchronicity between guitar and drums give ultimate starting ....melodic solo and awesome guitaring owns.Againt he complex riffs at 2:23 kick ass !! The solos are very Interesting and the way they change the signature is awesome.

And Then There Were None: Song start with good drumming and good catchy riffs , which later convert to a brilliant melodic theme. Brilliant sound track with awesome vocals make this song enjoyable. Paul Baloff's vocals is in the best way. Sweet song with thrashy riffs.

A Lesson in Violence : Listen the incredible starting theme , duhh the best they can do. Catchy riffs and awesome solo is amazing !! The changing signature at 2:16 is bruilliant .... the guitarist blows everything from your mind .. fk man fk such a fking solid thrashing guitarist and such a fking riffs .

Metal Command : Again the Paul Baloff is in the best form .... i think Baloff is a genius vocalist ..his vocals just kill . Good solos , fast and catchy riffs with melodic vocals .... ultimate groovy solo which start at 2:06 is brilliant. Another Exodus brilliant creation.

Piranha : What a starting openings riffs !! Repeated and choatic riffs which later on mixing with screaming vocals make a choatic environment ..... Good fast guitarist and blasting solo .. guitaring riffs at 3:12 is enjoyable and kick ass !! .... technically brilliant and Awesome.

No Love : This song is among the best song of the album .. everything with Exodus is brilliant. Good vocals [ belive me ] , amazing riffs , and incredible solos ..what else you want .... read the lyrics "turn to look at baphomet from below and not abovewelcome to my sacrifice tonight there'll be no love" .... very melodic and awesome creative riffs .... Bow to the song creater.

Deliver us to Evil : Nice song with fast and choatic riffs ....the tempo changes very randomly .... the guitaring riffs at 4:07 is aweful ..full of energy , the solo become faster faster and faster .... the longest song of the album and this song contanis all shades of the Exodus talent !!

Strike of the Beast : Good opening awesome guitaring riffs mixed with powerful drums creat chaotic environment. Good fast and incredible solo give you a wonderful felling. Again the ferocious riffs at 2:44 kick ass !!

Overall 'Bonded By Blood' is a fucking thrash album .... all thrash lover must listen this album. One of the most brilliant album in thrash metal history. Most of the Exodus work is good and brilliant . I have listned few other albums and they are pretty good !! Specially the album 'Tempo of the Damned' .. awesome album and another Exodus masterpiece. All hail this Legendry Thrash metal Band Exodus and All hail this brilliant masterpiece Bonded By Blood.

Satyricon is one of my favorite black metal bands. They are very talented and and they are surely the best in this field. This album is the Best by them IMO. This album is the in the most respected album in the list of BM industry.They release this album in 1996 and became the gods of black metal. Satyricon's First album 'Dark Medieval Times' is another brilliant album.

Nemesis Divina remineds me much of the Immortal and Darkthrone's best creation , the whole album sounds brilliant. Very much technically supurb with nice and beautiful keyboard work. They tryed to make all the song very dark and soothing , listen to the track 'The sawn of new age' ..good drumming and awesome riffs .... kills !! . Although Satyr tryed to do the best in the album , the way he growl is awesome ..but this guy never came in the list of best vocalist in BM genre. But any ways i love his vocals and i really enjoy them.

Mother North is one of the brilliant song they ever made , such an incredible environment with brilliant and technical riffs. Most of the song has good dark melodic environment .... keyboard work is trully brilliant. All the songs are enjoyable .. awesome raw black metal shit .. worth listning album for black metal lovers !! This album is already in my all time favorite black metal list along with the album Dark Medieval Times.

Exhumation : First Indian Brutal Death Metal Band

It was a great evening , i was enjoying the headbangging at rock show two month ago . The song was Hanger 18 covered by prestorika at Rock Show at AIIMS Delhi. Prestorika and Messiah was there along with two more bands. Both of the bands Prestorika and Messiah was good and tight , they played couple of covers and few good original compositions. I really enjoyed the show and i throught it could be great to see any Indian Death metal band LIVE. From that time i was searching good indian bands. I found few good bands like Prestorika , Vishnu , Demonic Resurrection , Pin Drop Violence , Bhayanak Maut , Kryptos and Exhumation.

Since Death Metal is favorite genre , i was searching despiratly any india DM band. Then one day i was listning the song Cannibal Corpse : Zero The Hero [ Black Sabbath's Cover ] , then one of mine friend Harpreet Arora told me that Áre Listen to the Indian Cannibal Corpse and he gave me the link of the Exhumation's page at RSJ Online. RSJ online [ www.rsjonline.com ] is really a damm cool site , with lot n lots information about Indian and local bands.

Exhumation is a four member band orginally from Mumbai. They play Brutal Death Metal and very much inspired from Cannibal Corpse , Suffocation , Cryptopsy , Spawn of Possession , Vader , Morbid Angel and others. There are five song available for download at their at RSJ Homepage . I listened all of their song and belive me , i was Shocked !! They are so fking brilliant and talented. Nothing But Misery : Starting with brutal drumming , and groovy and insane repeated riffs are brilliant and in meanwhile the growling reminds me much of Obituary and CC stuffs. The song of very brutal and very immpresive , but the solo which start at 1:43 isthe best part of the song . But wat the hell ?? song finished when it was in the purest form.

Under The Knief : Pure , tr00 fking growling give the first hits to the song ..and in the background the guitars and extreme drumming made a choas. Which is really shockable, nothing in the song is clear but belive me it is fking enoyable. Technically too good with all DM element with it along with impressive and thunderous drumming. The ending was the best ending i ever encountred. Again the song could last much longer, it finished when it was in Peak.

Among The Dead : The fast solo started with screaming which moves to the insane progressive riffs.. the song is good and very brutal. Vocals are not clear most of the time ..but this song is ultimate fast , it blows everything from your mind. Dont even start headbangging in this song, otherwise you'll definatly beark ur neck !!

Orphanage Carnage(edit) : Brilliant guitaring starting with arbitrary mixing of drums vocals and stupid riffs . But the song which start after 1:00 , when the choas are at peak .... only thing u will hear the supurb drumming and awesome growling ..which ends at 1:58. Rest of the song is repeated and edited verson of earlier one minute part. Very brilliant and Very interesting. \m/

(Dis)Grace ( I Am my God) : Come on this song is fking fking fking fking Supurb !! Everything with the song was brilliant , the same growling with blast riffs and kvlt drumming. I think the drummer is the BEST drummer around. Very fast and Very choatic , although the guitarist is also impressive.This song is enough to prove the talenet and creativity of EXHUMATION.

This band is really incredible , originally from United States of America but they sound more like german thrash. They have very short carrier , few live performance and one full length album 'Spectrum Of Death'. Morbid Saint are in that highly talented band category who left few album to the metal industry and will remain underground forever.

They play old school thrash , oh my favorite genre too. Each and every song is a thrash metal masterpiece. They have every good thrash element with them, awesome fast solo with grovvy and catchy riffs.Vocals are really brilliant , i could placed him in few talented and brilliant vocals in thrash genre. They could remined you Kreator and Slayer when u listen to them. They released only their one album Spectrum Of Death , but i can say that they know every damm thing about Thrash !!

Listen to the song Assassin and Damien , the opening riffs and solos are just fantastic , the best headbangging song i ever encountred. Every time when the vocals stop growing the plain and catchy riffs amazed you.Good drumming with awesome guitaring kick ass !! Finally i got the album which i can rate 10/10. One of the MOST underrated album in the metal history , the album which didnt get the cradit for its In-cred-a-ble creation.

I Salute this album and Hats off to this Classic band Morbid Saint.

Recomended Song : Assassin , Damien and Beyond The Gates Of Hell ; although all the song are worth listning.

Review :: Lykathea Aflame : Elvenefris

I was searching this album from a long time when my metal guru told me about this band. I always feel good whenever i see a good and crative death metal album , and few example like Atheist , Cynic really make me feel happy. Like other legend band Cynic Infester and Atheist they also had small carrer , they left only full length album 'Elvenfris'. But i think this album is among those few best album which is taken as legend album in death metal industry.

The whole album is a masterpiece , every song is diffrent and unique a true masterpiece. They sound incredible .... the tempo , the peak never let the song down , the vocals and the drummers are just fit into the environment. The riffs are very catchy , and the solos are very emotional the same time the kult drums and insane riifs puts you into the top of the world. They are technically very strong and they have every good damm thing in there music. All the solo are full of emotionally and in other hand they kick ass with catchy riffs and harsh vocals. The drummer part is the most interesting part of the album , i remember people suggest each other that if you want to see that how extreme drums are been played then listen this album. You wont remember Mike Portnoy or Flo Mounier or Tony Choy that time belive me !!

They are technically very very good , full of talent and creativity. All of the songs of the album are diffrent, all the song have diffrent structure and all of them are brilliant and unique. They have also added the natural sounds in there music , which really make you feel awesome. But in most of the song the tempo changes very fast and instantly with time which keeps the song interesting and the extremely brutal drumming keeps u high always. Eveything with them is just perfect. Each & every song make u feel a wonderful journy of hell some time the brutal side some time insane side and some time melodic side. It is not just a 1: 12 hour album it is a brilliant creation by Lykathea Aflame. Which the metal industry will remember till the end of the world.

This is recommended to all death metal lovers specially the Athesit Cynic and Martyr Lovers , go go and either download this album or buy it. If u havnt listen this album then u really missed a golden DM masterpiece.

"Synchronicity" Rock Night at IIT Kanpur

I cant belive i just came from the Rock Show of IIT Kanpur 'Synchronicity'.The best Headbangging with insanity i ever did .Since i was new for the place i got only few headbangger friends Akhil Gupta and Syed. I really missed few headbangger dudes ..like Abhishek Majumder , Vikash Jaiswal , Anshul Agrawal and Harpreet Arora.

Line up was IIT Kanpur team , Alter Ego, Sceptre and Them Clones .. all ofthem was new for me ..and i was bit excited. Any ways after a little late the show started and the Home band came to perform .It was the local IIT Kanpur team , they played couple of covers led zeppelin , iron maiden and pink floyd ..Good guitaring and Good drummer but the vocals was bit loose , neither the sound quality was good .... But since i have heared all the song they played i enjoyed them ..the pink floyd's cover the wall was brilliant specially the guitaring solos.

Next was Alter Ego .. they started with RATM song .. cant remeber the song name ..but that track pissed me off. People who love the song enjoyed enough ....the show was in full mood but i was standing near a big 440 volt soundbox system watching people headbangging and jumping with drums and lyrics.. and i just hate this moment..i was waiting for the song which could be kinda Good-RATM Marilyn Manson System Of A Down ..my few Nu metal favorite bands .After few self composition they played two Rage Against The Machine's song .. Bullet in ur head and other cant remeber exactly. They was too good .... people was jumping like they gotta spring in there legs .. and the moment came in the end of the song when the vocalist growl 'bullet in ur fking head' i cant belive that i screamed much louder then the vocalist ..lolzzz. Till the end of this band i was totally warmed up for doing much more and heavily headbangging.

This was the time for 'Sceptre', i read somewhere that they deal with Thrash genre .. since this is my one of the favorite genre ..so i was kinda excited. I was really boared of the most of the Indian bands .. becoz every second band deal with either Grunge, hard rock or Rap. I hate Rap and i have heared enough of Hard-Rock and Grunge. I was expecting very much with this band .. and the stuff they played was much much much much better then i was imaging.Starting with there Original Composition ..they move to the whole thrash genre .. from metallica to megadeth to slayer ..but the main was Metallica .. the mainstream band which most of the people know .. They played allmost all the metallica hits from sad but true , the unforgiven to turn the page .... and they was too good .. they covered each and every song with uniquenes and in a talented way. I dont remember when they started the song and when they ended the song .. i was totally fked up till that moment.... contineously head bangging of whole one fking hour. Cant really forget this gig \,,/ . Sceptre is a 4 member band .. two guitarist and one bass guitarist and one drummer .... The drummer was too good , The vocal-guitarist seems to be a bit influence by Lord Mustaine. They are very talented and very tight .. i forget to buy the CD's which was available there at the cost of 50 bugs.. damm it !! and in the end they sucked up .. they covered Paranoid 'in their own way' and fked the whole song ....but anyways they rocked the whole IIT no doubt.It is my dream to see Indian Black metal , Death metal band LIVE.At least there are few GOOD thrash metal like Prestorika and Parikrama follwed by Sceptre.

Now the last band was 'Them Clones'. I throught they could do better then Sceptre but what the fuck they staretd the first song with Lim Bizkit ' MI track' i was totally shocked. It was Hopeless Hope that they could play any megadeth or any other heavy stuff .. which i was waiting for. Going through The Scorpion , Sex Pistons ,Linkin Park, U2 they played few tracks of my favorite bands .. Marilyn Manson and Disturbed. Marilyn Manson cover ripped me off .. i donno what i was doing that time jumping around the ground doing headbangging .. this was new for me too. Marilyn Manson cover was good but they sucked the Disturbed's Stupify.

Overall it was a GOOD rock show .. i really enjoyed it. I find few new headbangger there. Didnt able to share my music stuff there at IIT Kanpur .. but any ways cant forget this GIG.

Enslaved : Such a good black metal band. Got the album Isa .. good work with new sound .

Dimmu Borgir : Listning Stormblast 2005 rerelease again and again

Exodus : Got another thrash legend , Tempo Of The Damned and Bonded by blood is a brilliant album. They are GODs of thrash.

Exhumation : Got the first album of this band ..total asskick and very brutal.

Slayer : Listning them after such a long time .. and this time they sound better and better then .... now i appriciate there talent , they were pioneer and they are BEST . Kreator Megadeth Sodom Metallica are the bands which come near Slayer , rest of them fk off !! Reign In Blood Kick ass. After being Hard Core Metallica fan , then Megadeth fan its time to tell everyone about Slayer.

Tulus : Awesome Melodic BM \m/ .. Pure Black Energy is the best Album by them .... rocking my whole wing .

Heathen : The Awesome Thrash Metal band i ever saw .... they get disbanded , but the 3 album they left for the metal industry is brilliant .. check it out Heathn's officila website http://www.heathenmetal.com/ . Then move to 'Discography' , All the 3 albums are available there . Most recommended Album "Breaking The Silence" ..waise first two albums are Thrash Masterpiece .

Drudkh : The single album 'Autumn Aurora' is enough for me ....listning the whole album everyday .. awesome creativity.

Deathspell Omega : Good kult technical black metal band i ever saw .

Martyr : Dont listen the album 'Hopeless Hope' by Martyr other wise u gonna fked up !! Belive me i m listning this album again and again .. cant stop listning them \,,/.

Review :: Rudra : Brahmavidya - Primordial 1

Rudra is a good singapore band ..they are new in this platform but they are the pioneers. Any ways they are so called 'Vedic metal'....deal mostly with vedic lyrics.Most of the song moves around the sanskrit sloks ..which sounds brilliant with groovy and catch riffs.

The first song twilight of Duality start with normal durga pooja kirtan ....which suddenly changes to insane riffs.... satanic vocals suits in the noisy thrashy environment .....if you try to listen the lyrics carefully then u can listen the sanskrit sloks.I appreciate the drummers talent .... he
varies the tone and pitch in everysong i dont know how he manage to creat such music like Dhool , baja and other local instrument.Another song 'Ananya Chaitanya' is too good .. damm they dont use easy starting .... start with brutuality with its limit ..awesome drummer with harsh vocals kills !! This song is extemrely supurb with lot n lots of complex riffs .. the repeated form of chaos really kick ass !! 'The pathless path to'is the another example of pure vedic song .. the only good thing in this song is the repeated form of "Har har shankar shiv shiv sankar" this is the basic starting with goes beside the catchy riffs and powerful drumming ..and suddelnly the whole theme disappeaered and the it shifted to another tr00 death metal theme .. and this was amazing .....Rest of the songs are the repeatation of sloks which is really mindblowing ..i like the new way of introducing the sloks in the dark death environment ..and thats what RUDRA itself call the 'Vedic Metal'.Next song 'There the sun never shines' Starts with awesome drumming .... and the drums based solo sound more and more kult when it grows up.The guitaring riffs are very much emotional ..the whole theme are just blessfull..i have never heared the theme like that..most of the DM/BM there are satanic .. but this one is better , toward happier side of riffs game. The melodic sloks penatrate in ur head like a bullet and fuck the whole system. These kinda songs are just brilliant becoz this experiment are really good ..i mean the deadly combo of vedic sloks in dark envirenment..or as my metal guru told me this combo is 'unquestionalble'. Rest of the songs are the typical vedic songs with moves around the vedic lyrics and catchy riffs ..from rest of the song Aham Brahmasmi is interesting one which starts with slow solos and get faster and faster when vocalist started growling .... nothing is clear , donno when he speak sankrit when he growl in english only clear word is "Aham Brahmasmi" .. again the combination of emotional riffs and emotionalsolos with brutal dumming kick ass !!.. if u have heared these sloks earlier then u gonna get awesome energy from from this album belive me.

If u are indian and you love thrash-death then this album is worth listning
..after all they deals with indian mythology.

Review - Immortal :: At The Heart Of Winter

Immortal is the GOD of black metal genre .If you are searching for black shit or say black raw stuff then no one can give you better material then Immortal . The band is growing with time , and the new album is more powerful then the earlier one. At The Heart Of Winter.

The first one is ordinary song by them...Deep vocals with dark environment although I love the keyboard work by them. ‘Where dark and light don't di’ is marvelous song ….totally amazing, every black element is there. If u really want to start Black then this Band is the Idol one …. Groovy riffs, More keyboards , Dark background and Harsh Vocals all makes the song different ..The title song ‘At The Heart Of Winter’ is a example of the above with a sweet and melodic theme. Oh!!Damm, I just love this song. If you see the patterns of Immoral it is clear that they never fails with the experiment whatever they do. They sound very much like old school black metal …. ‘Years of silent sorrow’ this song is different then ordinary song ..combination of drums with more and more complex riffs. Those who love Immortal or I say those who love Old School Black raw stuff will love all song by Immortal ..because immortal is genius in the platform. ‘Withstand the fall of time’ is a enjoyable tr00 black metal solo ..i love Abbath vocals too , he has such a unique vocals which fit into the sinister environment they create. ‘Tragedies Blows At Horizon’ is more clean vocals with extra drums ….Damm this is the most darkest song of the album , and that’s why I love this band !! Every time they do something different and they are supurb what ever they do. ‘Solarfall’ is most enjoyable song of the album . Good solo with complex riffs supported by black soothing environment is killer. I remember some of my friend was telling me that how good Abbath is in Guitar , the riffs are much complex and complicated with respect to the earlier Immortal stuff, Abbath is really genius ..i like his guitar work and the vocals. Overall the whole album was kickass !! . I rate this album as the best Album of Black Metal. After all this album put me into Black metal. Hail BM and Hail Immortal.

Review - Drudkh : : Autumn Aurora

Awesome album with great environment ....all the song are beautifull. The way they have mixed keyboards with the natural sounds are minblowing ....the opening song "Fading Summoning the Rain" prepared you for pushing you into next stage. The long solo which is kinda progressive but very very dark is soothing and the growling vocals between the solos make u feels like a hell. The most important thing is that the mixing of the 'new' sound with the black enviorment , it really gives a good shock. I live this kinda of experiment , "Glare of Autumn" is another masterpiece .... just a dark solo with hasrh vocals. I dont know how these guys manage to make a black metal song of more then eight minute , but all then songs are minblowing. The complex and repeated riffs with good drumming never let the tempo down, "Sunwheel" is another example of this.One of the BEST song of the album. Drudkh are really very very technically rich , they even use vocals as another playing instrument. The good thing in the whole album was that, environment of every song is dark and totally different from the ordinary black metal song . It is like the way Burzum gave a new dimention to the Black Metal ..totally different and mindblowing. The last track "The First Snow" is another masterpiece , this song is the theme of the whole album. It starts from a slow theme/solo , like it is raining somewhere in the middle of the jungle and the whole forest is floated after sometime. I observed the theory behind the album , and i find that the whole album a single theme. It is just divided into six part , you cant even rearrange any of the song ..because they are linked with another song. Once you start the album you wont feel satisfy untill it ends. I love this kind of experiment Vader Bathory do use this kind of theory. I am totally fked off , everynight before sleeping i listen this album. I think i am addicted to this album. Any ways this is highly recommended for Black Metal lovers ....one of the worth listning black metal album.
